Tim Beckett is a founder of the UK's leading maritime consulting engineers, Beckett Rankine. He has a particular interest in the decarbonisation of transport, particularly shipping, and in the development of sustainable infrastructure. He does not have as much patience with bureaucracy as he ought to have. In his spare time he repairs, and occasionally drives, a 1932 Alvis.
