Sam Stacey is a construction industry leader and writer on construction innovation. He has a unique perspective and a deep heritage in the built environment, having served on various boards, including the BRE, Construction Innovation Hub and Active Building Centre. He began his career at Buro Happold, and went on to specialize in Design Management and Innovation with Wates and Skanska. He combines technical know-how with degrees from some of the world’s leading universities. From 2018 to 2022 Sam led the highly acclaimed Construction Transformation Programme for the UK Government. Sam is currently Chairman of SustainCRE and CEO of Stacx International where he is working with governments, investors and innovators to improve the built environment.
