Richard Howell is a highly knowledgeable Civil Engineer with over 15 years industry experience in multidisciplinary projects. He brings a wide range of skills including detailed knowledge of vehicle restraint systems, drainage, earthworks, and pavement schemes, as well as and extensive experience of working with contractors, clients and designers to develop value engineering solutions. He has experience in sectors such as: major highways i.e. Smart Motorways Programme, Civil and Military aviation, infrastructure schemes, railway depots, and remediation schemes for public and private sector clients. Alongside his technical work Richard carries out a Digital Construction Lead role within the VolkerWessels UK group; keeping the business at the forefront of technology and innovation.
