Nick has spent the last 12 years as an innovation and continuous improvement professional having worked in the build environment and energy sectors. His current role as an Innovation and Improvement Manager for Sir Robert McAlpine sees him deployed at the Align Joint Venture where he is responsible for the design and delivery of innovations and operational improvement on section C1 of HS2. He has a BEng in Mining Engineering from the University of Leeds, is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is a member of the Association for Project Management. Nick is also a former Army officer having served for seven years in the Corps of Royal Engineers in the UK, Germany and Afghanistan. He is a Non-Executive Director for the charity Renewable World and is currently studying a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice at Cranfield University.
