Kai is a Technical Director in AECOM’s UK Transportation team, leading transformative digital construction consultancy on major programmes and projects across Europe & India. Throughout his career he has had a passion for technology, focusing on understanding client requirements to improve design and construction processes within project management, design, and delivery teams. He delivers both Digital Project Delivery (DPD) & digital construction implementation and strategy advice to clients and projects, specialising in visual planning, BIM automation, and construction management. He is a subject matter expert in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the Digital Built Environment (DBE) spanning major projects in Australia, East Asia, UK, and the Middle East. He advocates for a practical and people-first approach, that enables projects to effectively create & use construction data. Working closely with both clients and delivery teams, Kai negotiates challenges and implements change for increased productively, safety, and whole-life value for all stakeholders.
