Harry James has 6 years experience as an environment and sustainability advisor to the UK construction industry. During his career Harry has advised organisations in Newcastle, Manchester and London, working on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe. In his current role as Principal Sustainability Manager for Ramboll, he leads a team of Senior Sustainability Managers in developing and delivering the Ramboll UK's Transport sustainability strategy. In recognition of his contributions to sustainability, Harry's work has been nominated for numerous awards throughout his career, including British Construction Industry Awards' Environment and Sustainability Initiative of the Year, the Techfest Awards' Low Carbon Initiative of the Year and CN Awards' Best Use of Technology. Harry's articles on biodiversity and sustainability have been featured in the Construction Industry News Magazine and one of his low-carbon innovation projects has been featured in one of the UK's most prestigious newspapers, The Times. Harry's academic paper on low-carbon flywheel energy storage technology has been published in the peer-reviewed journal of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
