Alex is a Chartered Civil Engineer (UK Engineering Council) with a Master’s degree in Water Resources Management. His career has spanned diverse water sector projects across the globe, including work in the UK, the Middle East, and South East Europe. Currently, Alex leads the Asset Information Management (AIM) function for the Strategic Pipeline Alliance— one of the largest clean water infrastructure projects in the UK. In this role, he ensures the delivery of high-quality information to the asset owner-operator, Anglian Water. Alex also serves as the chair of the BIM4Water Asset Data Standardisation task group (ADS). As part of this role, he coordinates a diverse team of water industry professionals from across the UK, actively shaping and maintaining asset information requirements and data exchange standards.
