nima (established as the UK BIM Alliance in 2016) is a not-for-profit virtual organisation. A volunteer-led group, it promotes information management best practices, helping to support digital transformation across the built and managed environment. nima incorporates bSUKI, the UK and Ireland chapter of buildingSMART International, and – with the British Standards Institution – maintains the UK BIM Framework, the overarching approach to implementing BIM in the UK.
