New Civil Engineer and Costain are calling on start-up companies striving to bring new thinking to the industry to showcase their ideas at the new Festival of Innovation and Technology.

The start-up session will see anything from four to eight start-up companies pitching their ideas to a panel of judges and the live audience. Both judges and the audience will score each pitch, with scores combined to determine the winner.

Running alongside this will be a new mini-Hack competition in association with Bentley Systems, as well as live judging of four headline categories in the Festival’s spin-off TechFest Awards.

How to enter

Summarise in 300 words why your start-up should be considered for the award. Consider explaining specific innovation is being brought to the fore, how it has the potential to change the design or construction process for the better, and how the start-up is engaging with the industry.
