Kate is the Innovation Manager for Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 (TEAM2100), the £300m, 10-year pathfinder programme managing the tidal flood defences of the Thames Estuary for the Environment Agency. The programme brings together Kate’s strategic and operational asset management expertise with her experience in technology leadership working with and within research groups to both direct and actualise research and development.
Kate is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford, with research focusing on cross-sector, strategic decision making for infrastructure projects. Within Jacobs, she sits as a core member of the Asset Management Advisory leadership team and leads on innovation and digital disruption for the Strategic Consulting Operating Unit. More widely, Kate is a member of the Infrastructure Industry Innovation Platform (i3P) Delivery Leadership Group, Co-Chairing the i3P Community to build engagement and collaboration between infrastructure sectors and programmes.
