Isabelle has lived and worked in London for the past 17 years. Having graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, she went on to gain a Masters in Architectural Design under the tutelage of Peter Cook (of Archigram at The Bartlett (UCL). She then worked as an architect and town planner in Brussels before joining London Underground in 2001. Isabelle has since proven her capability in clienting, team leadership and management of complex mega transport infrastructure projects such as the East London Line extension, the Elisabeth Line, HS2 and Crossrail 2 through various stages of their life cycle.
Isabelle is currently heading the Crossrail 2 scheme development team and is accountable for developing the strategies and concepts for the design, engineering and operations of the central section of the railway which includes c.13 stations connected by 37 kms of tunnelled route beneath central London. Her role also includes the environmental planning and property acquisition.
Outside the professional sphere, Isabelle is the TfL senior representative for the Young Rail Professionals, Vice president of the Roger Adams Foundation, a family charity working in partnership with micro-financing institutions to guaranteeing funds for development projects in Guatemala. She is also a LEA Governor (Vice Chair) at Jubilee Primary School in Hackney.
