Transport Infrastructure Champion
This category recognises organisations that are driving technological change in the transport infrastructure sector and on transport projects.
This category is open to all organisations, from clients to consultants, designers and contractors, involved in the transport infrastructure sector that are taking the lead on using technology to better manage existing assets, design future projects or build new structures.
The entry should refer to developments and projects between January 2020 and July 2021 and highlight success and the impact they are having. Judges will looking for entries that:
- Demonstrate the solutions used over the last 18 months and the impact on recent transport projects
- Explain how your solutions are a step change from the conventional approaches and the benefits this delivers
- Describe the research and development strategy and how the organisation champions technological internally and across the industry
- Outline the next steps for the business and ambitions for the future
Entries are free and you are able to enter several innovations in one category or enter as many categories as you see fit, having reviewed the specific category criteria.
Each entry should be supported by a maximum of two images. Images should be in landscape, more than 1MB in size, in jpeg/png format and should not be edited to include details of the category or the name/logo of the company entering (or any other annotations). Additional text (other than diagram annotation) included in supporting documents will not be used by the judging panel. The images might be used in marketing material and featured in New Civil Engineer.
